Suhan, who is a native of Ankara, Turkey has been a British National for over 25 years and holds dual nationality. He is a graduate of T.E.D Ankara College and a graduate of Northumbria University Business School. He is currently Managing Director of Inscape Learning & Development Ltd, Business Development Director to Ethics In Policing Ltd, Director of I Can in the UK Ltd and Director of I Can in the North East Community Interest Company.
Suhan has over thirty years' experience in management, sales, customer service, and people development. After twelve years working for IBM UK's sales division, he set up his own company. He developed and delivered training programs, both in Turkey and in the UK, on success strategies, leadership, people management, team building and development, presentation skills, productivity, sales performance and customer service. His clients include the largest and most prominent organisations in their respective sectors. He is a businessman and consultant who has a wealth of knowledge, ranging from local authority to corporate sector working with finance, sales, marketing, retail, manufacturing and service functions.
Suhan understands both the public sector and the private sector, and the SME (Small to Medium sized Enterprises) and the corporate world.
His work with Learning & Skills Council's E2E (Entry to Employment) Providers to help disadvantaged and outreach, and Youth Justice Board's ISSP (Intensive Supervision and Surveillance Programme) teams to help young offenders to get on the right track exceeded all expectations and achieved outstanding feedback from the participants.
His latest initiative involves setting up of a Social Enterprise to roll out his work to help individuals, charities, schools, colleges, local authorities, companies, and other public and private sector organisations think outside the box and work with them to utilise the most effective approach to address the cause of the underlying problems and to be able to facilitate a dramatic and significant positive change in our culture and the way we live our day-to-day lives.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, North East Chamber of Commerce, Newcastle Speakers Club and, a volunteer Business Mentor for the Prince's Trust within the UK.
Suhan has been happily married to Janet since 1984 and they have three fantastic children.
