State police seek citizen feed
The Kentucky State Police is asking Kentuckians for their opinions on the agency’s “performance and effectiveness.”
“The mission statement of the Kentucky State Police directs the agency to promote public safety through service, integrity and professionalism, utilizing partnerships to prevent, reduce and deter crime and the fear of crime; enhance highway safety through education and enforcement; and safeguard property and protect individual rights,” KSP Commissioner Jack Adams said in a statement released Wednesday.
“We want to hear from citizens in communities throughout the state regarding which KSP services are considered positive and which need improvement,” Adams said.
“Through continuous improvement, it is our goal to provide the highest level of protection to the citizens of Kentucky and make communities throughout the state better and safer places to live. To accomplish this, we encourage open communication.”
The KSP has invited residents to fill out an anonymous survey at www.kentuckystatepolice.org or download the survey and mail the completed form to Kentucky State Police, Strategic Planning Branch, 919 Versailles Road, Frankfort, KY 40601.
