In relation to the news article published in the Information Room entitled "A Fresh Start", EiP wishes to make the following statement:
"The ethos of EiP is well documented within this web site. We always welcome views in relation to ethical perception which is a fundamental purpose of this web site. Due to legal issues we are unable to fully share the issues that occurred within Lithuania at this time however these are being challenged within the European Court of Human Rights. We respect the fact that people wish to remain anonymous when making critical comments as we have clearly demonstrated in the anonymity of members using this discussion forum. It may interest the anonymous contributor to this news article that we have international membership to EthicsinPolicing which includes members from Lithuania".
