Puerto Rico has pattern of police brutality - claims ACLU
A celebrity-enhanced ACLU delegation criticized Puerto Rico's government Tuesday for using police to keep the island's main university system open during a strike over a new fee, with members saying they found clear evidence in which officers abused students during the protests.

Scottsdale Police Shoot, Paral
The family of David Hulstedt has launched ScottsdalePoliceShooting.org, to outline the police misconduct and coverup that followed the Scottsdale Police Department's nearly fatal assault on David Hulstedt in November of 2008.
Highly publicized through the media worldwide, Scottsdale Police dispatchers mistook a child's crying on a telephone call as a hostage situation. Police responded in assault mode, shooting David Hulstedt multiple times in the back, paralyzing him, and forcing him to drop his 2 year old daughter onto the ground. Scottsdale police then dragged Hulstedt's nearly lifeless body over rocks and gravel, ripping through his skin and exposing bone. Police lied to local media about what transpired, fabricating a story that made David appear to be at fault. But then, an eyewitness came forward with a video tape of everything that happened.
That video, and other eyewitness accounts, are available at ScottsdalePoliceShooting.org.
David Hulstedt remains paralyzed. Despite mounting and compelling evidence proving massive police misconduct, Scottsdale prosecutors continue to pursue charges against David Hulstedt.
