NAGPUR: Local citizens and anti-corruption activists exposed the wrongdoings of the traffic police on Sunday even as cops took to harassing the protestors of the day before. Trooper Investigated for Misco
A state trooper at the Hazleton barracks is under investigation, accused of improperly using a stun gun.
According to Captain James Murtin, Corporal Shawn Noonan allegedly went to a party while on duty last month and used a stun gun on a group of people.
Noonan has been removed from police duties and is assigned to desk work while the incident is investigated.
Corporal Noonan could face a reprimand, a rank reduction or dismissal if it is determined he did something wrong.
