Anderson police captain fired
An Anderson police captain has been fired after an investigation of a misconduct case, Police Chief Martin Brown says.
Brown confirmed that Capt. James Johnson was terminated Thursday afternoon, The Anderson Independent-Mail reports.
Brown said there was misconduct and violation of the department’s polices and procedures. He would not elaborate.
Johnson said he plans to file an official grievance with the city. He would not talk about the case.
