Rogue cops

The mystery bombings of ATMs has revealed a worrying dimension after allegations of police involvement.

Three police constables appeared in the Klerksdorp magistrates’ court this week in connection with the bombing of a First National Bank ATM at Jouberton last week.

While they may be presumed innocent until found guilty, their alleged involvement nonetheless casts suspicion on the integrity of other police officers not implicated in the crimes.
