Police car chase to be investi

Police said they pulled all four occupants from the burning car in Auckland.

A 14-year-old girl was earlier reported as critically injured, but is now described as having moderate injuries.

Police said the car failed to stop at 1.30am following a speed check.

Police then chased the car through Otara's central business district, but it lost control and hit a concrete lamp post, knocking it over.

Senior Sergeant Shawn Rutene said the car rolled on its side and burst into flame.

The Fire Service sent two fire engines to the scene. The car was on fire, but not completely engulfed.
