15/09/2011 - EiP Ethics Poll Result - August 2011
The number of participants taking part in the August ethics poll on Ethicsinpolicing.com were not sufficient to have full statistical relevance however the poll did give the following indication:

When asked, Is It ethical to provide Police Officers with Firearms 80% said yes and 20% said No
