National Security boss says “o

The Delegate General for National Security has called on senior police officials to desist from corrupt practices that tarnish the image and quality of service rendered to the public.
Edgar Alain Mebe Ngo’o was speaking in Yaounde while installing three senior officials who were appointed by Presidential decrees.

According to the decree, senior Superintendent of Police, Eko Eko Leopold Maxime was appointed Director of General Information, Djom Beaulys appointed Director of Frontier Police and Fotso appointed research officer in the control, intervention and investigation section.

Just four hours after the presidential text appointing the three men was made public, the Delegate General of National Security, Edgar Alain Mebe Ngoh, proceeded in installing the new officials; a clear expression of the immediacy of the presidential acts.

Hence, senior superintendent of police, Beaulys Djom was installed as Director of the Frontier Police; Eko Eko Leopold Maxime was commissioned Director of the General Information Department.

The third man is senior superintendent of police Fotso appointed by an arręte as Research officer in the control, intervention and investigation unit.

Installing the trio, the Delegate General in firmness, called on them to stop certain malpractices inherent within certain police services.

The new Director of the Frontier Police was specifically instructed to apply emi-immigration laws, fight trans-boarder crime and secure the air and sea ports. He called upon the Frontier Police boss to strictly respect the regulations in force in issuing passports and visas.

This approach shall restore a good image of the Police; an image that has been soiled by unscrupulous collaborators.
The Delegate General affirmed that corrupt police officers have been exposed. In strong terms he called upon the police force to immediately decease from such practices.

To the Director of General Information, he talked of the need to promptly transmit information to the Head of State.
The new research officer, on his part, was enjoined to supervise the report of ethics by applying the pedagogic virtues of preaching by example.

This firmness notwithstanding, Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo’o assured the men and women in uniform that hierarchy is opened to all initiative needed to enable the police offer quality services and restore the dignity of the police force.
Work begins immediately for three newly appointed, just six days before Cameroon celebrates the 36th national Day.
